CUTTING
With top of the range machinery and
equipment, the company guarantees the
debarking, sawing of logs and the cutting of
wood to meet the needs of the customer.
DEBARKING SERVICES
We guarantee the logs debarking of various
diameters and lengths. This process alows to
eliminate fungi and parasites in the bark, a
better drying quality, cutting and better
final product.
MULTIPLE RIP SAWS
The multiple rip saws is composed of a laser
alignment system. Our company guarantees the
sawing of the 4-sided boards according to
the previously defined measures.
DRYING
With more than 300 m3
of kiln dry the company guarantees the
drying of 5.000 m3
of timber in simultaneous, keeping the
intrinsic quality of wood. Storage –
Management of stocks has a computerised
database.
STORAGE
Management of stocks has a computerised
database with optical reading program (“Bar
Code”) developed specifically for the José
Luís Madeiras. The company has a total park
of 38000 m2
of which 8000 m2
are covered and equipped with WiFi.
DISTRIBUTION
José Luis Madeiras has its own truck fleet
for fast, efficient delivery of timber in
Portugal and abroad. The company also holds
agreements with carriers, allowing a broad
coverage of the network in the national and
international distribution.
